A Message from Adjutant Scott Weeks

We are excited about the physical formation of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 29. With a new generation of veterans spanning from the first Gulf War to The Iraq and Afghanistan War, we have over 3 million veteran families that are being called by some; The New Greatest Generation. This new generation embodies diversity, skill and energy. Through our collaborated efforts with various programs and organizations we are focused on providing real life and relevant opportunities for the veterans and their families.

Sons of The American Legion membership is open to all males whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. military. We are encouraging membership of fathers and their sons from age 13 and older to join the Squadron. Through the Legion’s Americanism and Youth activities we will focus on strong leadership ( local and nationally ) and a willingness to serve others. Through programs such as Legion Jr. Baseball and Jr. Shooters programs we provide programs  for fathers and sons to not only spend quality time, but also serving and promoting 100% Americanism that will last a life time.
